Free breast cancer check-up camp opens at Hiwri Nagar

 

The inaugural free breast cancer check-up camp by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) received overwhelming response from citizens held at Hiwri Nagar Primary Health Centre (PHC), Lakadganj, on Saturday. The event is underway in association with HCG Cancer Hospital and Rotary Club of Nagpur North. In the inauguration session, Dr Deepak Selokar, Health Officer, NMC presided over.

 

Manisha Dhawde, former Deputy Mayor was the chief guest of the programme. Dr Khwaja Moinuddin, Zonal Health Officer, Lakadganj Zone; Dr Ashwini Nikam, Nodal Officer; Dr Mangesh Patil; Gyaneshwar Shewale; Parag Ghubade; Vinay Dara; Swapnil Band; Shyam Wadhwani; Nand Tahilani; Anil Nagwani; Pankaj Upadhyay and others were present as guests. To mark Amrut Mahotsav of NMC, such camps will be held at all zones under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Dr Abhijeet Chaudhari, and supervision of Additional Municipal Commissioner Vasumana Pant.
