‘Responsible use and awarenesskey to ensuring safe online world’

 

 

Addressing the audience at the inaugural ceremony of AARHANT ’25, organised by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, Ramdeobaba University, Nagpur, recently, Nityanand Jha, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone 2, Nagpur City, said that responsible technology use and digital awareness are key to ensuring a safe online world. Jha further emphasized the importance of cyber awareness and responsible digital behavior. He spoke about the need to minimize digital footprints, the responsible practices of social media use, and the significance of staying vigilant against online threats. He urged students to develop safe online habits and be conscious of their digital presence.

 

AARHANT ’25 marked the grand beginning of the university’s flagship event of Cyber Awareness Week, championing national and institutional efforts to advance digital safety and cyber hygiene. The event was graced by Dr Rajesh Pande, Vice Chancellor, and Dr Padma Adane, Dean, School of CSE, RBU Nagpur. Dr Rashmi Welekar briefed the audience about AARHANT ’25 and its vision. Vivekanand Auti, Police Sub-Inspector, Cyber Police Station, in his engaging talk has encouraged students to remain alert, aware, and proactive in spreading cyber safety awareness.
