SHUBHAM Dayma scored the winner as Nagpur Blues started their JSW NDFA Elite Division League Championship campaign on a bright note at Dr Ambedkar ground in Suyog Nagar on Monday. After a few days were lost due to rains, it was action time at the venue and Nagpur Blues’ Dayma scored an early goal in eighth minute of play against Friends Sports Academy (previously IFFC Chanakpur). Both teams tried hard to score goals but nothing came and the score remained 1-0 when referee blew the hooter thrice signalling end of play. Nagpur Blues’ Kamran Ansar, Pratik Rahangdale and Rahi Sheik, and FSA’s duo of Sayed Fawaz and Sahil Chopre were cautioned for foul play. Rahul Sanskrutayan will take on MOIL at 3.00 pm on Tuesday.
