Nagpur bag a total of 17 medals, including 3 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze
 
MEDALS kept coming in surplus from Nagpur athletes at 36th All India Vidya Bharati Sports Competition affiliated to Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan being held in Hassan, Karnataka. After a podium filled Day One and Day Two, Nagpur athletes bagged four medals on Day Three which includes two silver and two bronze medals. The city athletes bagged a one gold, four silver and three bronze medals on the second day of the tournament after wining whopping two gold, two silver and one bronze medals on the first day. Pritha Godbole clinched silver medal at Under-17 200 metre race.
 
Janavi Bawane bagged the silver in U-17 1500 metre race while her team-mate Ruhi Ramekar had to be content with the bronze medal. Their senior Tanmayi Pimpalkar, participating in U-19 1500 metre race won bronze. So far, the Nagpur team has maintained its dominance by winning a total of 17 medals, including 3 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze.
