Renowned Indian playback singer, music director and composer Ankit Tiwari enthralled Raipurians in the Rajyotsav-2025 at Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Udyog Avam Vyapar Parishad Naya Raipur Atal Nagar on Tuesday evening. The music lovers in large number witnessed the cultural programme. Earlier, talking to media persons here today, playback singer Ankit Tiwari said that he got constant support from his parents to pursue his career in music field. Singer Tiwari said that he is delighted to perform in the Rajyotsav-2025. Replying to a query on rejections in reality shows, the playback singer said, “I was rejected in “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” and “Indian Idol” shows. The reality shows are not the only medium to groom music talents.
 
Even after rejections in the reality shows, I continued to work hard to achieve my goal and because of it, I have today achieved this success in the field of music.” To a query about whether he is interested to sing in Chhattisgarhi, Ankit Tiwari said, “If I get a chance to work in Chhollywood, I will definitely work in it.”The playback singer said that some of his Bollywood movie songs are slated to be released next year.
 
Ankit Tiwari began his career with Pradeep Sarkar where he got a chance to work in jingles and started composing background music for television programmes. Subsequently, he was offered to compose music for Do Dooni Chaar (2010) and Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), from which he started his singing career. In 2014, he collaborated with Mohit Suri for Ek Villain, where he composed and sang the song “Galliyan” for which he received two nominations in Filmfare Awards, winning Best Male Playback Singer, which is the only Filmfare Award won by someone other than Arijit Singh from 2014 to 2020. He also recorded the song “O Yara” for the Pakistani film, Bin Roye.
