At a programme organised
in the district as part of
the Drug De-addiction Campaign, District Incharge Minister Pratima Bagri took the oath at the Drug De-addiction Selfie Point and took a photo, conveying the message of building a drug-free society.
Addressing the youth and citizens present on the occasion, Minister Pratima Bagri said, “Drugs lead life into darkness.
We must stay away from drugs and work towards a brighter future for our families and society.”
She called on the youth to actively participate in the drug de-addiction campaign and said that everyone should spread awareness about drug de-addiction in society at their own level. Minister Pratima Bagri said that such campaigns help foster positive thinking, a healthy lifestyle, and a better future in society.
Officers from the Social Justice and Disability Empowerment Department, school students, representatives of voluntary organizations, and the general public were present in large numbers at the program. Everyone pledged to make the campaign a success with the resolve of a drug-free society.
