THE Institution of Engineers (India), Nagpur Local Centre (NLC), conducted its annual general meeting (AGM) and annual day function with great enthusiasm and dignity at its premises, recently. Meera Khadakkar, Principal Judge (Retd.), Family Court, was the chief guest and the keynote speaker. The session was chaired by Er Satish Raipure, Chairman, and conducted by Dr Mahesh Shukla, Honorary Secretary. Dr Shukla presented the annual report in the presence of the attendees, highlighting the Centre’s accomplishments, during the year. The annual day function and 28th V M Dokras Memorial Oration were conducted. More than 300 members attended the function. A highlight of the evening was the handing over of charge to the newly elected office bearers. Dr Sandeep Shirkhedkar assumed office as Chairman, while Er Jayant Joshi took charge as Honorary Secretary. The event was compered by Dr Sanjay Malode, while Er Jayant Joshi proposed a vote of thanks.
