Marathi, Sindhi play appreciated Kalasagar Sanstha’s 20th Multilingual One-Act Theatre Festival

The 20th Multilingual One-Act Theatre Festival, organised by Kalasagar Sanstha, continued to draw an enthusiastic audience on Wednesday with two remarkable performances representing Marathi and Sindhi theatre traditions.
The evening opened with the Marathi play ‘Research and Analysis Wing’, presented by Vatsal Creation Cultural Mandal. Written and directed by Shyam Askarikar, the drama featured powerful performances by Akash Dudhnakar, Namita Deshpande, and Shyam Askarikar himself.
The play received strong applause for its impactful storytelling and stage execution.
The audience also enjoyed the Sindhi one-act play ‘Asin Swagat Kanda Ahiyun’, presented by the Sindhudi Youth Wing and directed by Harish Maidasani. The cast included Dinesh Kevalramani, Gurmukh Motwani, Harish Maidasani, Tulsi Setia, Omprakash Tehliani, Pinky Mangalani, Parmanand Kukreja, and Chandu Gopani.
The programme began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony graced by Colonel U K Chembat (Retd.), while Manish Wankhede of Venkatesh Forex Services, Shreerekha Sanjivan Nair Principal of Baba Nanak High School and Junior College, Padma Nair President of Kalasagar Sanstha, Ravishekhar Gillurkar, Sushil Tiwari, Ravindra Bijwe, Ramesh Barskar, Savita Pande, and Rupali Wanjari were also prominently present on the occasin.
