As per university sources, the academic session of 2025-26 for B Ed first semester began very late this year as the admission process beyond the deadline.

All of B Ed colleges had started the classes of

B Ed first semester from October and therefore, they cannot manage to complete the entire syllabus before December first week. The officials of Pt RSU stated that the matter has been taken up for consideration and a final decision will be out shortly. There are formal representations from several associated colleges for delay of one month. The proposal is being considered and new dates of examinations will be notified soon.

Tentatively, the rescheduled exam can be held from January 2026. In the meantime, academic section of university has allowed colleges to continue their academic activities in entire December month as per the schedule. “It is good decision as it is not possible to complete syllabus of so many subjects-theories and practical in such short span of time” said Dr Ishwar Prasad, Professor of B Ed course in education department of Kalyan College.
