To commemorate 150 years of India’s National Song ‘Vande Mataram’, a mass singing event was organised on Friday at Raj Bhavan, Raipur.
The Governor, Ramen Deka, graced the occasion with his presence.
The ceremony was broadcast live from
New Delhi, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally inaugurated the historic celebration. Officials and staff at Raj Bhavan watched the live telecast and joined in the collective rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ in unison.
Held at Chhattisgarh Mandapam in Raj Bhavan, the programme resonated with patriotic fervor and devotion toward the motherland. Governor’s Secretary Dr C R Prasanna, along with other officers and employees, attended the event.
