“In the field of art, our competition is no longer with individuals, but with machines. When Artificial Intelligence (AI) is ruling the world, empathy is the only hope left for a better society,” said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis during the inauguration of Annual General Body Meeting of Sanskar Bharti held at Maharshi Vyas Sabhagruha, Reshimbag on Saturday. Now, with the help of AI, poetry, painting and stories can be created without efforts or skills. It is just on your finger tips. However, the emotion and empathy will always be missing in AI generated at work and here natural art wins, said Fadnavis.
 
Emotion and empathy are the only way to keep society alive, he added while addressing 400 artists from across the country during the event. Padma Shri Parashuram Khune, renowned stage artist; Janardhan Bothe, General Secretary, Gurudev Seva Mandal; Mysore Manjunath, National President, Sanskar Bharti; Ashwin Dalvi, General Secretary; and Kanchan Gadkari, Vidarbha President also shared the dais. “Instead of opposing technology, every individual should utilise it for betterment of the society,” said Fadnavis.
 
The Chief Minister expressed that there is a need to take technology in a positive direction to address challenges like deepfakes. He expressed confidence that Sanskar Bharati had the potential to do this by embracing innovative change. Fadnavis claimed that India’s ancient‘Sindhu-Saraswati’ culture, is still alive, which is evident in the architecture of Nalanda, Taxila and Hindu temples.
 
He also said that, all the values in the Constitution of India have been taken from the Indian culture and it has been instrumental in ending evil practices and establishing eternal values. The event commenced with lighting of traditional lamp and Nataraj Puja. Ashwin Dalvi gave the introductory remarks.
 
The guests were welcomed with a bouquet and the book 'Kaladaddhichi Yogendra Ji'. Padma Shri Khune and Janardhan Bothe expressed their thoughts and thanked Sanskar Bharati. Both guests also emphasised the importance of art in the development of life.The event was conducted by National Secretary Ashutosh Adoni.
 
Kanchan Gadkari proposed a vote of thanks. Padma Shri Malini Awasthi; Swanant Ranjan, Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh; Vasudev Kamath, renowned painter and former President, Sanskar Bharti; Nitish Bharadwaj, Vice President; Dr Swaroop Ghosh; Dr Suchandru Prasad; Rajiv Verma; Ojas Hirani; Dr Girish Chandra Sharma and others were present during the event.
