Shreyas Choutmahal stormed into the last-fours, while girls top seed Jyotishikha Arekanti suffered defeat in the quarter-finals of Suhana Smart-10’s Circuit Tennis Tournament, hosted by the Nagpur District Hardcourt Tennis Association at MSLTA Tennis Academy on Saturday.

 

All matches were played in the Best of 11 format. Shreyash beat Shaurya Bendre 6-1 in the second round of the tournament. In the quarter-final round, he blanked Shaswat Ghogare 6-0. In the girl’s last-16 match, unseeded Tiaana Thakkar stunned Jyotishika 6-1. In the first match,

 

Jyotishika beat Sanaya Pankule 6-2. The other seeds in girls are Aarya Jadhav, Hradini Tribhuvan, Gargi Burade while in boys, other seeds are Avyan Pulgam, Divyesh Amode, Adiraj Patil, Vihaan Murthy and Kabir Panchmatia. Vijay Naidu, Treasurer encouraged and welcomed the players, tournament official Vishal Landge conducted the matches.
