Vidarbha Economic Development Council (VED) and Jhulelal Institute of Technology (JIT) formally released their joint report, “The Synergy of Faith and Function: Temple Management at Shree Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan, Shegaon,” in presence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
The report, conceptualised by VED and developed through extensive fieldwork and research by students and faculty of JIT, highlights the exemplary management practices of the Shegaon Temple and explores its potential as a model for tourism-driven regional development. Gadkari appreciated the sincere efforts and quality of work undertaken by the JIT students in compiling the study.
The VED team - Pankaj Mahajan, Aliasger Wagh, and Aatish Jindal - led by President Rina Sinha, in association with JIT and its dedicated faculty and student team led by Prof. Pramod Pampatwar, submitted the landmark study to Gadkari. Sinha presented the report to Gadkari along with a memento and a shawl as a tribute to his vision for tourism.
