MLA Abhilash Pandey on Tuesday outlined key development works in the North Central Assembly constituency and shared the issues he raised during the recently concluded winter session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly. Addressing a press conference, Pandey said his focus remains on improving roads, drinking water, education, employment and agriculture. He informed that road and drain construction works worth Rs 52 crore is progressing at a steady pace. Rs 70 lakh overhead water tank and ongoing expansion of the sewer line network is also in progress.
 
Work on Rs 234 crore flyover approach road and the Rs 3 crore garden development project is also moving forward. He said Rs 181 crore Sanjeevani Nagar flyover is expected to ease traffic pressure, while new ITI building and agriculture market being developed at a cost of Rs 481 crore will help young people access better training and provide farmers with modern facilities.
 
The BJP MLA further said that he raised a series of public interest issues during the Assembly’s winter session, including skill development, digital safety of children, unregulated e-rickshaw operations, sports infrastructure and technical education. He said State Minister Gautam Tetwal assured him that the government will hold a job fair in Jabalpur and expand training opportunities. Expressing concern over excessive Smartphone use among children below 14 years, Pandey called it a growing social issue.
 
He also raised questions on e-rickshaw regulation, overhead cables, stray cattle, food adulteration, air pollution and pending civic works. Pandey said he will continue to raise local issues both in the Assembly and in the constituency and will push for timely action and stronger development planning.
