Smart India Hackathon is an initiative run by the Ministry of Education, Government of India and AICTE in which G H Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur, one of the prominent institutes of Central India, was selected as a nodal center. 20 teams across the country consisting of over 120 students and mentors had worked for 36 hours continuously to provide solutions on four problem statements.
 
The host institute GHRCE, Nagpur organised recreational activities like music concerts, sports, games etc. to rejuvenate the participants and keep them enthusiastic during 36 hours of Hackathon. The valedictory function of the SIH 2025 at GHRCE conducted on December 9 in presence of chief guest, Center Head TCS Nagpur Arvind Kumar, Vice-President- Analytics Persistent System Shishir Dani, Programme Manager AI TCS Kanchan Gandhi, Nodal Center Head Sagar Kawale, Director GHRCE Dr Sachin Untawale, Steering Committee members and SPOC SIH 2025 Dr Dinesh Padole and Dr Santosh Jaju.
