CP & Berar College lift handball title

 

 

 

CP & Berar College men clinched the inter-college handball title. The tournament was organised by the Physical Education and Sports Department of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. In the final, CP & Berar College defeated Jyotiba College of Physical Education 21-19. Aakash Katkar and Vinayak Patil of CP & Berar scored seven goals each, while Linesh Bhasme added four and Chaitanya Raikwad three. Aniket Rathod’s excellent goalkeeping ensured the victory of CP & Berar College. For JCPE, Shankar scored 11 goals, Naveen and Rahul scored three each and Arun two.

 

Prizes were distributed by CP & Berar Education Institute President Adv Ashokrao Bansod who presided over the function. Dr Vijay Datarkar, Principal, Jyotiba College of Physical Education was the chief guest of the prize distribution function. Dr Surendra Tiwari, Dr Inderjeet Singh Randhawa, Dr Dheeraj Bhoskar, Rakesh Bansod, Dr Bokare, Rituja Koram, Prajakta Bhalavi, Adarsh Wakode, Dr Dixit, Dr Dongarwar, Dr Sowani, Liladhar Kadak, Pankaj Kadak and others were also present. Dr Ajay Kulkarni conducted the programme.
