Ramdeobaba University (Formerly Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management), Nagpur, marks a significant milestone on the global academic stage with its prestigious ‘3 + 1’ International Credit Transfer Programme in collaboration with Hiroshima University, Japan, one of Asia’s most respected research institutions. Formalised under a memorandum of understanding (MoU), this transformative programme is redefining global education for Indian engineering students. Under this exclusive international pathway, selected B. Tech students complete three years of rigorous academic training at Ramdeobaba University
 
(RBU), followed by an immersive one-year (9 months) academic and research experience at Hiroshima University, Japan. During their stay, students work on cutting-edge research projects under globally renowned professors, gaining unparalleled exposure to international laboratories, innovation ecosystems, and advanced technologies. On successful completion of the programme, students receive: One-Year Academic Completion Certificate from Hiroshima University, Japan. Credit Transfer to Ramdeobaba University and final degree and marksheet from the home institute / university. For the academic year 2025–26, seven students have been selected for the programme - three from Computer Science Engineering, three from Electronics & Communication Engineering, and one from Biomedical Engineering - each reflecting Ramdeobaba University’s commitment to academic excellence and global exposure.
