Sports Day organised at The Swaminarayan School

 

 

 

THE Swaminarayan School celebrated its Sports Day with the theme ‘Nayi Soch Naya Bharat’, with great enthusiasm, featuring students from Nursery to Grade 12. The event opened with an impressive NCC parade welcoming chief guest Vinayak Garg, Divisional Railway Manager, Central Railway (Nagpur Division) along with his wife Deepa Garg, a trailblazing sports icon, Chairman Jignesh Bhai Patel, Principal Shweta Khandewal, Headmistress Sonali Dange, Heads Kirti Nerkar, Nisha Doshi, Vrushali Purohit, Mentor Laxmi Sista, Administrator Valesh Unnarkar, Asst Administrator Vivek Dudhagra and other dignitaries. Students showcased their talent through dindi yatra, formation drills, thematic dances, yoga, aerobics, martial arts and a series of competitive races across all grades. Principal Shweta Khandelwal presented the school report.

 

Chief guest Garg delivered an inspiring address, emphasising the importance of life skills and experiential learning, drawing from his high-level experience in the Indian Railways. The event concluded with the solemn Beating The Retreat ceremony and a vote of thanks.
