To give a significant economic boost to Nagpur region, the CIMCON Management Foundation (CMF), in association with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur, has launched the Central India Management Conclave 2026 (CIMCON’26) website and registration portal at a press conference held at the IIM Nagpur, MIHAN Campus, on Saturday.
On the occasion, the website was launched by Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur. The conclave, scheduled on February 20, 21, and 22, 2026, at IIM,
Nagpur campus, will bring together industry leaders, academic experts, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and professionals from across the country and abroad.
At the press conference, Srikant Sampath, CMF Chairman announced that the CIMCON’26 conclave will be bigger and better than last years CIMCON that will transform knowledge into overall economic growth for Nagpur region. He also highlighted this year’s theme ‘10X in Ten Years’. He announced that the conclave will feature more than 80 eminent speakers and targets more than 500 delegates aspiring to achieve growth in their respective fields. He acknowledged the support of the organising committee members, sponsors and people supporting this cause.
“CIMCON’26 stands as Central India’s largest and most influential management gathering, bringing together top industry leaders,
academic experts, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and professionals on a single platform.
The conclave aims to foster
dialogue, innovation, and
strategic collaboration across
diverse sectors,” he added.
Dr Bhimaraya Metri, stated
that CIMCON’26 will present
a series of programmes to
translate knowledge into economic growth.
Before selecting the theme, there was sceptism among the members and
if it was possible to achieve 10
times growth in 10 years. But
there are companies from
Vidarbha region which have
achieved remarkable growth
like Bajaj Finance, Dixon
Technologies, Solar Industries
among others, he added.
As an example, Dr Metri said,
Plasto has achieved growth of
more than 1,000 times in 26
years. “We are living in a disruptive world where businesses need to enhance profit margins.Today, businesses need to
adopt AI quickly to survive,” he
said.
The conclave will provide a
lot of learning insights for holistic growth including how to
boost rural economy and how
develop sustainable business
models.
The importance of
industry–academia collaboration in developing future-ready
leadership, he emphasised.
