When Earth was hot, your arms were soothing, When the sun was blazing, your shadow refreshing. Your little nudges and silent care, Sometimes were seen, sometimes were there. While running down the road of life, You taught me always to check my stride. You trained me to be the greatest winner, Yet taught me to be a gracious loser. You mentored me to success galore,

 

And helped me endure my deepest failures. No letters, no poems can do you justice, No words can express my truest feelings. From little steps to the biggest leaps,
