Paddy procurement made simpler with 24x7 Tuhar Token booking

 

 

 

In a significant move to simplify paddy procurement and place farmer convenience at the centre of the process, the Chhattisgarh Government has made the ‘Tuhar Token’ mobile application available 24×7. Farmers are no longer required to book tokens within fixed time slots and can now generate tokens at any time of the day or night, according to their convenience. Under the revised arrangement,

 

farmers will be able to book tokens for the next 20 days, up to January 13. This extended window is aimed at helping cultivators plan paddy sales more efficiently while easing hassles, technical pressure and last-minute rush at procurement centres. In another farmer-friendly step, farmers owning two acres or less are being given additional time to book tokens through the

 

Tuhar Token app until January 31. The facility for small and marginal farmers is being extended on the directions of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. Meanwhile, tokens will be issued strictly within the quota allotted to each cooperative society. Farmers have been advised to secure their tokens well in advance through the app to avoid inconvenience. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said,

 

“The convenience of farmers and a transparent system are the highest priorities of our government. The decision to keep the Tuhar Token app open 24×7 and remove time restrictions reflects this approach. Farmers can now book tokens at their own convenience, without pressure. The extended timeline and additional window for farmers with two acres or less will provide genuine relief.”
