SP Upadhyay inspects traffic arrangements at Malviya Chowk

 

 

 

WITH an aim of ensuring smooth and safe traffic flow, Superintendent of Police Sampat Upadhyay, conducted an on-site inspection of the traffic arrangements at Malviya Chowk on Monday. The inspection was carried out in the presence of Traffic Police Station In-Charge, Malviya Chowk, Arun Patel along with traffic police staff. During the inspection, Superintendent of Police directed that immediate control measures be taken to address factors causing traffic conges tion at the intersection and surrounding areas.

 

Special empha sis was laid on keeping left turns clear. He instructed that effective action be taken at such inter sections and junctions where encroachments have been made by food carts selling chaat, fulki (pani puri), fruits, etc., particularly on left turns. Orders were issued to remove these encroachments and ensure that carts are set up only at designated locations, so that road movement is not obstructed. The SP also directed strict action against improperly parked vehicles and emphasised ensuring compliance with traf fic rules, so that citizens may be provided with smooth and safe traffic facilities.
