GOVERNOR Mangubhai Patel
on Wednesday inaugurated a
photo exhibition themed on
‘Moments from the History of the
Madhya Pradesh Legislative
Assembly from 1956 to 2025’ and
‘Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh
Two Years of Development and
Service under Chief Minister Dr
Mohan Yadav’ on the occasion
of the special session of the State
Assembly. The Governor formally
inaugurated the exhibition by
cutting the ribbon and also
released the exhibition album at
the Central Hall of the Assembly.
He viewed the displays and
appreciated the collection and
presentation of rare and historically significant photographs.
The special session has been
convened to mark 70 years of the
first session of the Madhya
Pradesh Legislative Assembly. An
impressive exhibition featuring
135 rare photographs depicting
key moments from the Assembly’s history between
1956 and 2025 has been set up
in the Central Hall. In addition,
the Public Relations
Department has installed a 90
panel development exhibition
within the Assembly premis
es, highlighting the State’s
progress over the years.
Governor Patel also visited the
photo exhibition organised by
the Public Relations
Department on the theme
‘Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh
Two Years of Development and
Service under Chief Minister
Dr Mohan Yadav’ and reviewed
the panels highlighting the
state’s developmental journey.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Assembly
Speaker Narendra Singh
Tomar, Chief Minister Dr
Mohan Yadav, Parliamentary
Affairs Minister Kailash
Vijayvargiya, Leader of the
Opposition Umang Singhar
and public representatives.
