THE Electricity Department has
announced scheduled power
outages across multiple areas of
the city on December 18 as part
of departmental maintenance
work. The outages are planned
to ensure uninterrupted elec
tricity supply and improve the
reliability of the power network
in the long term. Residents and
businesses in the affected areas
are advised to make necessary
arrangements and plan their
activities accordingly.
On this day, several colonies
will experience power inter
ruptions from 10 am to 4 pm.
These areas include Ganesh
Mandir, Rajgaliya Colony,
Chhola Vishram Ghat,
Mechanical Market, Phoota
Makbara, Gour Market, Agrwal
Dharamshala, Prem Kunti,
Manohar Dairy, Ram Mandir,
and Gurubaksh Ki Tallaiya.
Additionally, Rambha Nagar,
New Kabad Khana, Liyaqat
Market, Dulichand Bagh,
Ibrahim Ganj, Rajdeo Colony,
Eye Hospital, Guru Nanak
Colony, and Shanti Nagar will
also face outages during the
same time window.
Other colonies affected in the
10 am to 4 pm slot include
Sambhavna Trust Hospital, New
Kabad Khana, Shakti Plastic,
Alehadis Masjid, MP Atou
House, Thana Hanuman,
Alpana Talkies, Hotel Taj,
Remson, Alishan, and Jyoti,
along with Nishat Pura,
Complete Arif Nagar, Hanuman
Mandir Teela, Gangour Ki
Bawadi, Old Naka, Quazi Camp,
Nanhi Bee Masjid, Basant Kunj
Colony, Laxman Nagar, Bharat
Nagar, Love Dale School near
by area, Aykar Colony, and
Dhadkan Hospital area.
In addition, colonies such as
Jatkhedi, 16 Acre, Kanjar
Mohalla, Bagmugaliya Basti,
and Bhawani Nagar will expe
rience outages from 10 am to 1
pm, while areas including
Vishwakarma Nagar, Janta
Quarter, LIG, MIG, Molvi Nagar,
Kamla Nagar, Hanif Colony,
Aashiyana Colony, Paras Nagar,
and surrounding localities will
face interruptions from 10 am
to 2 pm.
Authorities have emphasised
that these outages are neces
sary for essential maintenance
work, aimed at improving power supply reliability and
preventing unexpected breakdowns in the future.
Residents are advised to avoid
using high-power electrical
appliances, keep backup
arrangements ready, and plan
work and daily activities around
the outage timings.
The Electricity Department
has requested the cooperation
of all residents and businesses
in the affected areas.
