TO FOSTER holistic student
development through a diverse
array of competitive disciplines,
the College of Veterinary Science
and Animal Husbandry, under
the aegis of Nanaji Deshmukh
Veterinary Science University
(NDVSU), Jabalpur, officially
inaugurated its annual inter
class sports, literary and cultur
al festival, “Anubhuti–2025”. The week-long festival, sched
uled to conclude on December
23, 2025. The inaugural cere
mony was presided over by Vice
Chancellor of NDVSU, Professor
(Dr.) Mandeep Sharma, as the
Chief Guest. The event com
menced with a “Tug of War” com
petition, symbolizing the ener
gy and collective spirit of the fes
tival. Prominent attendees includ
ed Dr. Aditya Mishra (Dean,
Student Welfare), Dr. Rajesh
Kumar Sharma (Dean, College of
Veterinary Science), and various
senior university officials.
Under the coordination of
Sports Incharge, Dr. Brajesh
Singh a committee of faculty
members, the festival features
an extensive program including
Athletics and Team Sports includ
ing Cricket, Volleyball, Football,
Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and
Basketball. Then, Indoor
Competitions (Carrom, Table
Tennis, and Badminton) and
Literary and Cultural Events
including platforms designed to
enhance creativity and leadership. In his keynote address, Vice
Chancellor Professor Sharma
emphasized that
“Anubhuti–2025” serves as a crit
ical instrument for building dis
cipline, team spirit and confi
dence among students.
He noted that such engage
ments are essential for charac
ter building and preparing stu
dents for professional excellence.
The festival is expected to
remain a significant milestone
in the university’s academic cal
endar, promoting healthy com
petition and artistic expression.
