MBA aspirant killed afterbike hit by heavy vehicle

A TRAGIC road accident in the Kamla Nagar Police Station area of the State capital around 3 am on Monday morning claimed the life of Yogesh Pal alias Raja (22), a student preparing for his MBA. Yogesh had taken the CAT examination on Sunday afternoon and had spent the night discussing his career plans with a friend. Yogesh Pal, a resident of Bagsevania, had completed his B.Com last year and was aiming to clear the CAT this year to pursue an MBA. On Sunday night, he had gone to meet and drop off his friend in Ratibad.
 
While returning, near the Bhadbhada bridge, his bike was hit by an u n i d e n t i f i e d heavy vehicle. The collision was so severe that the vehicle’s wheel ran over Yogesh’s head, causing fatal damage to his head and face, resulting in instant death on the spot. Yogesh was the youngest son in his family. His father works as a physiotherapist at a Government Ayurvedic Hospital.
 
The family is in deep shock over the sudden death of their son. Kamla Nagar Police have registered a case of accidental death and initiated an investigation. Police are currently scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding area to trace the driver of the absconding vehicle.
