MEMBER of Parliament Ashish Dubey, on Sunday, addressed a press conference and shared sig nificant details of the recently concluded Winter Session of Parliament. He said as many as 10 Bills were introduced in the Lok Sabha, of which eight were passed during session which was adjourned sine die on December 19. Dubey said a special discus sion was held on December 8 in the Lok Sabha to mark the 150th anniversary of the nation al song Vande Mataram. Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the discussion, while 65 Members of Parliament also addressed the House on the topic. The MP said he raised sever al important questions related to Jabalpur and national development during the session.
These included issues related to the Model Youth Gram Sabha scheme, National Action for Mechanised Sanitation Ecosystem (NAMASTE), revised green belt and plantation norms for sustainable industrial growth, Incredible India digital platform, GoIStats mobile appli cation, affordable healthcare and medical tourism, innova tion in technical textiles etc. Dubey said Jabalpur students will soon benefit from the Model Youth Gram Sabha initiative. He said NAMASTE scheme is also being implemented in Jabalpur.
He said initiatives related to healthcare, renew able energy, tourism promo tion, MSMEs, women self-help groups and infrastructure will have a direct positive impact on Jabalpur. He further informed that MP Khel Mahotsav 2025, envisioned under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India Mission, will be held at district level in Jabalpur from December 23 to 25. Sports Minister Vishwas Sarang will inaugurate the event at Ranital Sports Complex. PM Modi will virtually address players on the concluding day.
