Mustajab hammers four as Rabbani drub MOIL 8-0

 

 

IT RAINED goals as well as yellow cards for defending champions Rabbani Club as they drubbed MOIL XI 8-0 in their league match of JSW-NDFA Elite Division Football Championship underway at Dr Ambedkar Stadium in Suyog Nagar, in Monday. Rabbani scored eight times, four by the boots of Mohamamad Mustajab while five of their players were flashed with the yellow card twice for Mohamamad Gulam who was given marching orders in the final moments of the match. Rabbani found the target four times each in either halves. Mohamamad Moiz scored the first goal in third minute. Arshil Akhtar made it 2-0 in 31st.

 

Two minutes later, Mustajab (33rd) scored his first of the four goals. Mohamamad Rizwan (44th) struck one just before the lemon break to make it 4-0. Second half belonged to Mustajab (57th, 67th, 76th) as he hit three in a row to make it 7-0. Mohamamad Alfishan hit the final nail in the 82nd minute to complete the rout. Apart from Gulam (55th min and 90+1), Furqan (60th), Mohamamad Huzaif (75th), Mohamamad Rizwan (81st), Afzal Akhtar (88th) and MOIL’s Gurunath Kathote (80th) were cautioned for foul play. AL FATEH WIN In the Super Division, Al Fateh Club defeated Green City Sports Academy 2-0 with both goals coming in the first half. Al Fateh’s Zia Ur Rehman (29th) and Mohamamad Shafique (32nd) were able to beat Green City defenders and goalkeeper. Abu Amin (88th) was shown a direct red while Naushad Akhtar, Shahnwaz Ansari, Mohamamad Shakir, Darshan Mohankar, Banerjee, Mohamamad Zulfeqar and Mohamamad Shoeb were flashed with yellow card.
