Bank of India holds workshop for MSMEs in Gadchiroli

IN PURSUANCE of the objectives of financial inclusion and MSME development in Gadchiroli, a first of its kind, district specific capacity building workshop for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) was organised at Gadchiroli, on December 24, 2025, by Bank of India under the guidance of the Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur. The programme witnessed participation of over 425 MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs from Gadchiroli. The event was graced by Sachin Y Shende, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur, Avishyant Panda, District Collector, Gadchiroli, Anjana Shyamnath, Deputy General Manager, FIDD, RBI, Nagpur, Jai Narain, DGM, Bank of India, and Nilesh Gaikwad, General Manager, District Industries Centre (Gadchiroli).
 
Senior officials from major banks of the region also actively participated in the workshop and set up their stalls to assist the participants with information on MSME credit facilities. The workshop focused on the district specific opportunities and potential areas for MSME development. It also covered practical aspects relating to Udyam registration, record-keeping, key aspects of Central and State Government schemes such as PMEGP, CMEGP, MUDRA, CGTMSE and PM Vishwakarma. Special sessions were conducted by faculty from IIM Nagpur.
