CM honours winners ofSansad Khel Mahotsav

 

 

 

THE Sansad Khel Mahotsav concluded at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the State Capital on Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the concluding ceremony of the Sansad Khel Mahotsav. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was the Chief guest at the concluding ceremony in the State Capital. The winners of the Raipur Lok Sabha Sansad Khel Mahotsav were honoured with medal and certificate in the function.

 

Addressing the programme, Raipur Lok Sabha Member Brijmohan Agrawal said that around 85,000 players had participated in the event. The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh Government is continuously taking concrete steps to promote sports. The Sports Awards ceremony has been restarted in Chhattisgarh.

 

An incentive amount of Rs 21 lakh will be given to a player from the State on his selection in the Olympics and Rs 3 crore, Rs 2 crore and Rs 1 crore will be given to the gold, silver and bronze medal winners respectively. MLAs Rajesh Munat, Sunil Soni, Purandar Mishra, Motilal Sahu, MLA Kiran Singh Deo, President of Zila Panchayat Navin Agrawal, other public representatives, sports officials and players were present.
