RESIDENTS of Bhopal will face power outages for several hours on Friday as the Electricity Department will carry out maintenance work in multiple areas, affecting supply across the city. The outages are expected to last between 5.5 and 6 hours in certain localities, and residents have been advised to complete essential electrical work in advance to avoid inconvenience.

 

Among the areas that will be affected are Jatkhedi, Haripuram, Signature Residency, Eden Park, Paras Villa, and several other major neighbourhoods. Specifically, power will be disrupted in Signature Residency Colony, Sagar Premium Tower, Signature 99 Colony, and surrounding areas from 10.30 am to 3 pm.

 

Meanwhile, areas around 11 Mill Tower and 11 Mill Tiraha will experience outages from 10 am to 4 pm. Similarly, localities including Jatkhedi, Mahendra Green Wood, Paras Villa, Sterling Global Grand, Sagar Pearl, Eden Park, Swastik Ground, Golden Valley Villas, and Haripuram Colony will remain without electricity from 10 am to 4 pm.

 

The Power Department has urged residents to plan their work and daily routines accordingly, especially for tasks that require electricity, to minimise disruption during the maintenance period.
