NEW Year is set to bring a special
gift for residents and students of
Ranjhi area with Sharda Nagar Park
being developed into a wellequipped and safe tourist destination. On the initiative of MLA Ashok
Rohani, the park is being given a
complete makeover and will be
opened to public in its new form
from January 1.
MLA Ashok Rohani, along with
Municipal Commissioner Ram
Prakash Ahirwar, carried out
inspection of the park.
During the
visit, he held detailed discussions
on beautification works and
strengthening basic facilities.
The MLA directed officials to
develop the park in a manner that
it serves not only as a walking space
for local residents but also emerges
as an ideal picnic spot. Rohani said
the mini pond located near the
park’s entrance is being rejuvenated with lotus flowers set to bloom
as a major attraction for visitors,
especially children.
Adequate lighting, seating arrangements and strict
security measures are being put in
place to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for families
and students. Situated amid a
densely populated residential area
of Ranjhi, the park is expected to
function as a green lung, offering
clean air and a peaceful natural
setting to visitors. Those present on
the occasion were Damodar Soni,
Anurag Dahiya, Additional
Commissioner Arvind Shah,
Superintending Engineer Kamlesh
Shrivastava, Garden Officer Alok
Shukla and other officials.
