Cricket Club recorded back to back wins in Guzder ‘B’ Division One-Day (50 overs) Inter-Club Cricket Tournament organised by Vidarbha Cricket Association.
In their first high-scoring match, Mujumdar Cricket Club defeated Reshimbagh Krida Mandal by 18 runs while in their following game,
MCC thumped Central Dhantoli Cricket Club (CDCC) by eight wickets.
Making first use of the turf against Reshimbagh, MCC piled 320 before getting all out in 47.5 overs. V Rao hammered 110 runs from 74 balls with 14 fours and five sixes. He was well-assisted by Rishi Sharma who made 81 runs from 86 balls hitting 12 fours. Reshimbagh fought well but were shot out for 302 in 48 overs.
MCC’s Vaibhav Sahu returned with a five-wicket haul claiming six wickets for 46 runs. In their second match, CDCC were bundled out for a paltry score of 157 in 32.3 overs. MCC’s Rishi Sharma snared four wickets for 50 runs. Mujumdar batters cruised to the target making 160-2 in 13.2 overs.
