An SUV suddenly turned into a fireball shortly after a family disembarked at the Maitri Bagh parking area in Bhilai on Sunday afternoon. By the time the Fire Brigade team from Durg reached the spot, the vehicle had been completely gutted. Fortunately, no member of the family or any bystander was injured in the incident.

 

However, two motorcycles parked nearby also caught fire and suffered considerable damage. According to Newai police, the incident occurred at around 3:15 pm when the SUV was parked at the parking area. Flames erupted moments after the family, including parents and their two children, stepped out of the vehicle.
