THE Indian Institute of
Information Technology, Design
and Manufacturing (IIITDM)
Jabalpur successfully organized
a two-day ‘Alumni Meet 2025,’
marking a significant gathering
of former students ranging from
the pioneer 2005 batch to the
most recent graduates of 2023.
The event was designed to
strengthen institutional ties and
foster a collaborative environment between past and present
students.
The proceedings commenced with an inaugural
address by Director Professor BK
Singh, who provided a comprehensive overview of the institute’s recent achievements in
innovation and infrastructure.
Professor Singh formally invited the alumni to contribute to
the institute’s development
through active mentorship and
industry partnerships.
Professor Puneet Tandon, leading the Alumni Cell, further
underscored the importance of
the alumni network as a cornerstone of the institution’s success.
The event featured a diverse
itinerary, including a General
Body Meeting to strategise
future alumni-led initiatives and
a campus-wide tour where attendees observed the evolution of
the institute’s facilities.
The alumni recounted their
professional journeys and academic struggles, serving as a
source of inspiration for the current student body. The second
day focused on environmental
stewardship through a dedicated plantation drive. The event
concluded on a high note with
cultural performances by current students and a consensus
among the alumni to establish
this meet as a regular tradition.
This gathering has effectively
reinforced the bond between the
institute and its global community of graduates.
