SWIMMERS of Aqua Sports Club brought laurels to the city by excelling at the 21st National Masters Aquatic Championship 2025 held at Hyderabad organised under the auspices of Swimming Federation of India. Participating in 35-39 age category, Ashwin Mokashi won silver medal in 400m freestyle, and bronze medals in 200m freestyle and 100m breaststroke. Akshaya Zanzad (35-39) won gold in 4x50m medley relay, silver in 50m breaststroke, bronze in 50m backstroke and 100m breaststroke, 4x50m freestyle relay.

 

Similarly, Anuja Zanzad (35-39) won silver in 50m backstroke, bronze in 4x50m medley relay and 4x50m freestyle relay. All the above swimmers are the regular members of Aqua Sports Club and train under Vishal Chandurkar and Dr Pravin Lamkhade. Aqua Sports Club President Mohan Nahatkar, Secretary Mangesh Gadre, Director Midland Sports Prashant Ugemuge, Vice-President Preeti Lanjekar, Manager Ashwin Janbandhu and others congratulated all the medal winners.
