Air travellers, specially those who had opted IndiGo Airlines, continued to suffer as the most-popular airline had to cancel its flights from Nagpur’s Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport even on Saturday. The chaos following the inadequate crew and non-compliance of rules set by the Directorate of General Civil Aviation (DGCA) continued on the fourth day leaving over 3,000 air passengers high and dry. Passengers’ anger erupted at the airport on Saturday morning. Due to continuous cancellation of IndiGo flights, a huge crowd of air travellers gathered at the airline’s counters.

On Saturday too, 12 flights were cancelled, after which the frustrated passengers vented their anger on the airline staff. Meanwhile, IndiGo Airlines’ Bengaluru-Delhi flight was cancelled, and all passengers were flown from Bengaluru to Nagpur, from where a flight to Delhi was arranged. This was the announcement made. Following this, more than 150 passengers arrived at Nagpur airport around 9 am. But after reaching the airport, around 2 pm, the cancellation of the Nagpur-Delhi flight was announced. This caused a huge uproar. Passengers demanded a refund. Meanwhile, it was said that the Delhi flight would take off at 4 pm, but the plane finally took off for Delhi around 6 pm. Due to this entire incident, passengers coming from Bengaluru had to wait for 10 hours at Nagpur airport.
