Laddu Pinto had always been a committed businessman. He had built his company from scratch, putting in years of effort, late nights, and sacrifices. But recently, things had taken a tough turn. Sales dropped, challenges mounted, and uncertainty loomed over his future. No matter how hard he tried, it felt like he was losing control. Stress became his constant companion, and he began questioning his capabilities. One day, a friend suggested he attend a workshop on life and happiness conducted by a well-known guru. Initially, Laddu was skeptical. He had always believed that success resulted from hard work and strategy, not mere words or thoughts.

However, with nothing to lose, he decided to try it. At the workshop, the guru spoke about the power of auto-suggestions and positive affirmations. He explained that the mind believes whatever it is repeatedly told. If one keeps saying, “I am struggling,” the mind accepts it as truth. But if one starts affirming, “I am strong, capable, and successful,” the mind begins to align itself with that belief. Laddu found this idea fascinating. The guru suggested that before starting the day, one should stand in front of a mirror, look into their own eyes, and say powerful affirmations every morning. He also recommended meditating for a few minutes after affirming positive thoughts. Curiosity and doubt led Laddu to test this concept in his own life. Laddu followed two different routines for the next few weeks as part of his experiment. On some mornings, he stood before his mirror and spoke the following powerful affirmations to himself: “I am confident, and I attract success.” “Challenges make me stronger and wiser.”

“I am grateful for all opportunities coming my way.” “A lot of wealth and success is on my way.” “Today is a great day, full of possibilities.” After this, he sat quietly for a few minutes, meditating and allowing these words to sink deep into his consciousness. On other days, he skipped the affirmations altogether. He would wake up and dive straight into work, tackling emails, attending meetings, and managing his business without any morning ritual. After a few weeks, Laddu noticed something strange happening with him. The days he practiced affirmations were not only more productive but also more peaceful. Problems that once seemed overwhelming now felt manageable. He felt more energetic and in control, and surprisingly, his interactions with people improved. On the days he skipped affirmations, he found himself easily irritated, overwhelmed, and mentally exhausted.

The challenges remained the same, but now his response to them was different. This realization changed Laddu’s outlook on life. He understood that success wasn’t just about hard work—it starts from within. One’s thoughts shape one’s reality. He realized that he was unknowingly programming himself for success and happiness by feeding his mind with positive words. Laddu’s business still had ups and downs, but stress no longer controlled him. He had discovered the powerful tool of affirmations, which cost nothing but gave immense returns. Morning affirmations had transformed his business journey and his entire life approach. Friends, the words you tell yourself each morning define your life. Choose them wisely.
