Nisha Yadav scales Mount Kilimanjaro CM Sai congratulates

 

 

 

Mountaineer Nisha Yadav has created history by hoisting the Indian flag on Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, standing at 5,895 meters. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated Nisha, calling her feat an inspiration for the youth of State. He lauded her determination and self-confidence, stating that her success proves no peak is impossible to conquer with dedication and hard work. Expressing his pride, CM Sai remarked that Nisha’s achievement is a matter of honor for the entire state. “Through her courage and relentless efforts, she has elevated Chhattisgarh’s prestige on the global stage,” he said. Chief Minister Sai recalled meeting Nisha a few months ago in Bilaspur, where he was impressed by her resolve. Recognizing her potential, the state government provided her with financial assistance of Rs 3.45 lakh to support her expedition.

 

“Today, as she stands atop Kilimanjaro with the tricolor flying high, it is evident that with hard work and proper guidance, any dream can be achieved,” he added. Nisha as the daughter of an auto driver from Bilaspur, faced financial constraints but never let adversity dampen her spirit. With dedication and an unyielding will, she carved a niche for herself in the field of mountaineering. The Chief Minister said that Nisha’s accomplishment will serve as a beacon of inspiration for the youth of Chhattisgarh and reaffirmed the Chhattisgarh government’s commitment to promoting sports and adventure activities, ensuring that talented people, especially daughters of the state, receive the necessary support to shine at the international level.
