The written examination of HSC (Class XII), to be conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, is beginning on Tuesday. The examination will conclude on March 18. Written examination of HSC to be held from February 11 to March 18, will witness 1,58,537 students writing it in Nagpur division at 504 centres. The examination is beginning with English paper. This year, with the help of the Revenue Department, flying squads have been formed for every examination centre to prevent malpractices. Therefore, the Education Board will ensure the exams are held at every centre in free and fair atmosphere.The exam will begin at 11 am. The practical, grade, oral and internal assessment exams of the Education Board were conducted from January 24 to February 10. Along with Government schools, rooms in aided and unaided schools have been made available for these exams. Nagpur division is making arrangements for the examination.
 
Total 84 custody centres have been set up in the division for question papers. The Education Board has taken various measures to prevent malpractices in the examination. 44 flying squads have been set up by the Board. This year, five flying squads have been placed in each district. These will include flying squads of primary education, secondary education, diet, scheme and deputy education officers. Apart from this, the flying squad of the Revenue Department headed by the District Collector will also keep an eye on each examination centre to ensure a copy-free campaign. This year, flying squads of the Revenue Department will be placed at each examination centre. Although there is less manpower, officers from various departments have been deployed for this. Strict action will be taken against those who indulge in malpractices.
