Close on the heels of opening its second hotel in the city, Tata Group, on Monday, announced that it is planning to set up one more facility in Nagpur. Following a request by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at a ceremony in Mumbai on Monday, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced that it will open a new Taj Hotel in Nagpur. Sources told The Hitavada that the group is in advanced stages of acquiring land for the facility. Though ‘Taj Hotel’ will be the Tata Group’s first facility in the city in the name of ‘Taj’, its luxury hotel chain subsidiary, the group’s midscale hotel chain company Ginger has two hotels here. IHCL, part of the Tata Group, has opened its second hotel ‘Ginger Nagpur’ on February 5 on Canal Road, Ramdaspeth. Earlier, IHCL has opened its first hotel on London Street near Wardha Road.

 

The new addition to the Ginger portfolio embodies the brand’s signature lean luxe philosophy, offering modern comfort and seamless service to discerning travellers.
