British Govt is looking forward to helping Nagpur-based companies: Harjinder Kang

Harjinder Kang, Trade Commissioner for South Asia and British Deputy High Commissioner for Western India, recently said that the British Government is looking forward to helping, liaison and channelise the Nagpur-based firm. “We will extend all possible support to firms having a presence in the UK to expand their base in the country. Similarly, we will also encourage new companies that are willing to start business activities in the UK,” he said while interacting with a group of entrepreneurs at an exclusive business meet jointly organised by Nagpur First and INFED at IIM Nagpur campus. Some of the city-based companies showcased their capabilities and achievements in their compelling and effective presentations to Harjinder Kang and Deputy Trade Commissioner Chandru Iyer, a British national of Nagpur origin.
Chandru Iyer also shared his insight on fostering strong business ties between India and UK. He shared his connection and attachment with Nagpur and Vidarbha and expressed his willingness to provide opportunities in terms of identifying locations, trade investment, etc.
Chandru Iyer further added that the visitors will certainly encourage the initiative for future ready technologies in Britain.
Nagpur First and INFED with a common vision striving for Nagpur’s global connect organised the event at IIM Nagpur for tech innovation and expansion through IT business houses like Minzveu, delaplex, Sagacious, Infocepts, Virtual Galaxy, Orient Group of Hotel, Thinkovat Singapore, Vidarbha Dal Mill Cluster, Mahaorange and others. Both the trade commissioners visited and praised start-ups incubated by INFED, IIM Nagpur. After the event, a tour to MADC Office and MIHAN was also organised for the dignitaries.
