Highlighting conducive business atmosphere in the State, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav mentioned that whether it is a matter of policy or infrastructure, Madhya Pradesh is proving a promising place for various industries. He said that India is the youngest country. Youth are being encouraged to opt for start up projects. As far as Madhya Pradesh is concerned, The price of land here is much lower than Delhi and Mumbai. There is no shortage of water for industries in the State, infact we provide water to other states of the country, Dr Yadav said. While Narmada benefits Madhya Pradesh as well as Gujarat and Rajasthan, now Maharashtra gets water from Tapti, Bihar from Son river, Uttar Pradesh from Betwa and Chambal. Giving information about other features of Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh to investors, Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that while there are many lakes and hills in Bhopal, there is wildlife wealth including tigers near Bhopal and unique forest wealth in the entire Madhya Pradesh. He was addressing the gathering at a curtain raiser programme of Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 organised at a hotel in New Delhi on Wednesday. He interacted with ambassadors of different countries and invited investors of the country for the upcoming summit to be held on February 24 and 25.
 
There is no issue of human resources moreover people here are affectionate and co-operative with a positive mind set and progressive. Talking about road and rail network, he said the State has five and a half thousand kilometres of national highways, about 550 railways and 6 airports. New airports are also being built. In terms of policy, Special incentives are being given to industries like textile, which have never been given before. Arrangements have been made to give all permissions to industrialists within the time limit. Setting up new industries and generating employment to youth is our top most priority. Efforts are being made to promote investment in Madhya Pradesh through continuous dialogue with constructive approach. The investor also wants to earn profit at the same they provide livelihood facilities to thousands of people, the investor’s role is very crucial for a state.
 
 
 
Over 400 participants, including prominent industrialists, attend event at New Delhi
 
Talking to ‘The Hitavada’, a senior official told over phone that over 400 participants attended the event, including investors from New Delhi and nearby regions. The event also saw the participation of diplomats and business representatives from 40 countries, including ambassadors, high commissioners, consuls, chief secretaries, and economic and trade experts. One-on-One meetings with leading industrialists: Dr Yadav conducted one-on-one meetings with more than 15 prominent industrialists, including Jagrut Kotecha (CEO, PepsiCo India and South Asia), Puneet Dalmia (Chairman, Dalmia Bharat), Madhavkrishna Singhania (Joint Managing Director & CEO, JK Cement), Vineet Mittal (Chairman, Avaada Group), Jean-Marc Leclercq (CEO, Soufflet Malt), Rikant Pitti (Founder, EaseMyTrip), Vinay Vyas (CEO, Fusion X Energy), Anil Chalamalasetty (Group CEO & MD, Greenko Group), Vineet Arya (Vice Chairman, JBM Group), Rahul Mittal (Chairman & Managing Director, RITES), and Anusuya Ray (Vice President, Corporate Affairs, AB InBev India).
