Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh informed that Rs 12.5 crore have been allocated for the conservation and beautification of major lakes in the city
Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh along with a number of public representatives performed bhoomipujan for preservation and beautification work of Hanumantal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said that under AMRUT 2.0 scheme, efforts are being made to conserve and enhance as many as six major lakes in the city. The beautification and preservation of Hanumantal will be carried out at a cost of Rs 2 crore.
Mayor Singh further informed that Rs 12.5 crore has been allocated for the conservation and beautification of major lakes in the city.
Likewise, plans are being made to preserve small ponds with the assistance of NGOs.
Singh said that the restoration of six major lakes of the
city will soon be completed. It will be a valuable gift to the citizens of Sanskardhani.
