THE Raje Raghuji Maharaj Bhosale Bahuuddeshiya Smriti Pratishthan and Maharaj of Nagpur Trust felicitated meritorious individuals in various fields recently. Tanvi of Roshan Swimming Club and Swaminarayan School won a bronze medal for Maharashtra in the National Water Polo Championship. She holds a record in the Asian Book of Records and World Excellence Records in the adventure sea swimming.
Tanvi also emerged as winner in the triathlon competition and did excellent work in various state-level swimming competitions. Tanvi was felicitated in the Under-18 age group with the Rajratna Award. In the open group, Padma Shri Murlikant Petkar, on whose life film ‘Chandu Champion’ was made and who had won a gold medal in the Paralympics, was also honoured.
