WCL receives 2nd Best Enterprise Award at 35th national meet of WIPS

 

 

Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) was honoured with the Second Best Enterprise Award at the 35th National Meet of Women in Public Sector (WIPS) held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi recently. This prestigious award was presented to WCL amongst 13 participating organisations. The award was conferred by Vijaya Kishor Rahatkar, Chairperson of National Commission for Women (NCW), and Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE. From WCL, the award was received by Anupama Temurnikar, President of WIPS (Western Region), along with Medha Hardas, Jyoti Verma, Ankita Ghosh and other members of WIPS.

 

Following the award ceremony, the WIPS-WCL team met WCL CMD J P Dwivedi and Director (Personnel) Dr Hemant Sharad Pande, on Friday, and briefed them about their activities. Dwivedi congratulated WIPS-WCL and appreciated their positive contributions. During the WIPS National Meet, Anupama Temurnikar, President of WIPS (Western Region) and Chief Manager (Human Resource Development), was elected as the National General Secretary of WIPS for the upcoming term 2025-2027.
