Centre’s (RMC) Geetanjali won the chess title while Nilima Ninawe and Meshram secured second place in carrom during the All India Sports Meet-2025 conducted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ministry of Earth Sciences, in celebration of the 150th year of service to the nation at Balewadi Stadium, Pune. Regional Meteorological centres of IMD like Nagpur, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati, Delhi and other departments under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, such as IITM Pune and INCOIS, also participated in the event, making it a significant gathering. The RMC Nagpur team was managed by Dr Rizwan Ahmed, Director of the AMO at Nagpur Airport.
