Central Railway will run special superfast trains between Pune-Nagpur and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai -Nagpur during Holi for catering to the increased passenger demand. These special trains aim to provide additional convenience to travellers and ease the festive rush on regular services. During holiday season, native residents who are working in Mumbai, Pune region tend to head home to be with family. Hence, the bookings in regular services on the two routes soar and railways deploy additional trains so as to ease ensure travellers can get confirmed tickets.

 

Train No 02139 Mumbai (CSMT) Nagpur Superfast Special will operate on Sunday and Tuesday and start ex-Mumbai (CSMT) at 00:20 hrs and arrive in Nagpur at 15:10 hrs. The trips would be on March 9, 11, 16 and 18 (4 Trips). Train No 02140 Nagpur – Mumbai (CSMT) Superfast Special will operate on Sunday & Tuesday and departure ex-Nagpur would be at 20.00 hrs and reach Mumbai (CSMT) at 13:30 hrs the next day. The trips would be March 9, 11, 16 and 18 (4 Trips). The composition: 24 ICF Coaches (02 Brake & luggage, 4 General, 4 Sleeper, 1 First AC, 1 First AC cum Second AC, 2 Second AC, 10 Third AC). The stoppages: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtijapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Wardha. Pune: Train No. 01469 Pune-Nagpur Superfast Special will run on Tuesday and departure ex-Pune will be at 15:50 hrs and arrive in Nagpur at Nagpur: 06:30 hrs the next day.

 

The trips would be on March 11 and 18 (2 Trips) Similarly, Train No. 01470 Nagpur-Pune Superfast Special will run on Wednesday and departure ex-Nagpur would be at 08.00 hrs and reach Pune at 23.30 hrs. The trips would be on March 12 and 19 (2 Trips) Composition: 20 LHB Coaches (1 Generator, 1 Brake & luggage, 15 Third AC, 3 Second AC) and stoppages would be at Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Wardha. Pune-Nagpur: Another Train No. 01467 Pune-Nagpur Superfast Special will run on Wednesday and departure ex-Pune would be at 15.50 hrs and arrive in Nagpur at 06:30 hrs (Next Day) The trips would be on March 12 and 19.03.2025 (2 Trips).

 

Train No. 01468 Nagpur-Pune Superfast Special Days of Operation: Thursday and departure from Nagpur would be at 08:00 hrs and reach Pune at 23:30 hrs. The trips would be on 13.03.2025, 20.03.2025 (2 Trips) Composition: 17 ICF Coaches (2 Brake & luggage, 6 General, 1 Second AC, 1 First AC, 5 Sleeper, 2 Third AC) Stoppages: Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Wardha.
