A team from IIIT Naya Raipur has secured first prize in the ‘Technovate for India Ideathon’ held in a hotel in Raipur. The winning project titled ‘GyaanMarg AI’ was developed by B Tech 2nd year CSE students Pranjal Pathak, Paridhi Sharma and Anwita Chakraborty under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr Kavita Jaiswal. Their solution ‘GyaanMarg AI’ is an AI-powered career and skill development platform designed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunities. It is worth mentioning that main objective of the competition was to develop technology driven solutions for the workforce of Chhattisgarh and saw participation from around 15 colleges. The given project statement was to design a technology-driven skill development solution for state’s workforce, focusing on boosting local employment.
 
Solution-based project needed to be scalable, inclusive and capable of enhancing both the quantity and quality of skilled professionals. By leveraging artificial intelligence, the platform aims to enhance skill training, provide career guidance, and connect job seekers with suitable employment opportunities, making it a transformative solution for Chhattisgarh’s workforce. The winning IIIT Naya Raipur team’s outstanding innovation and dedication earned them a cash prize of Rs 50,000. This achievement highlights IIIT Naya Raipur’s commitment to fostering innovation and technological advancement in solving real-world challenges.
