RBU students visit Parliament House in New Delhi

 

A GROUP of 50 students and three faculty members from Ramdeobaba University (RBU) had the distinguished opportunity to visit Parliament House in New Delhi on February 20. This visit was organised following a special invitation from the Vice President of India, extended during the inauguration of the Digital Tower at RBU, Nagpur. During the launch event, the Vice President commended the university’s contributions to education and innovation, acknowledging its role in shaping future leaders.

 

As a gesture of appreciation, he invited Ramdeobaba University students to witness the legislative proceedings firsthand and gain deeper insights into the functioning of the country’s democratic institutions. Upon their arrival, the students received a warm welcome from Parliament House officials, who guided them through various chambers and provided valuable insights into the history, structure, and operations of the Indian Parliament. This rare opportunity allowed students to observe the legislative process in action, enriching their understanding of governance and policymaking.
